About Us.
Planet Tan has provided tanning services to The High Country since 1999.
Kara first joined Planet Tan as a client. Upon returning to Boone after college, Kara began working at Planet Tan. Soon, she fell in love with helping clients achieve their goals. In 2018, Kara purchased the business and officially became the Owner/Operator. She has poured her heart into continuously improving the salon, its services, and the client experience.
Today, the Planet Tan team is dedicated to ensuring clients have a quality tanning experience at an affordable price. We look forward to serving you!
