Build Your Base
Our biggest tip is to allow time to build your base tan. One week, even two weeks, is not enough time! A month of tanning gives enough time to safely and moderately build a tan in a controlled environment. -
Use Lotion
you waste up 50% of your tanning session by not using lotion. Lotion activates your melanin production as soon as the lights come on in the bed. It’s super important to stay moisturized during and after your sessions. Vitamin E is one of the richest moisturizers and antioxidants as well as hemp seed oil. -
Exfoliate
EXFOLIATE! Whether you are bed tanning or getting a spray tan, exfoliating a day before tanning primes your skin, opens your pores, and removes dead skin. This helps ensure a nice and even, long-lasting tan. -
Rotate
Have y’all ever noticed a little white “bunny tail” above your bottom while tanning? How about your shoulder blades? These are called pressure point spots. They happen when areas of the body are pressed against the acrylic. Two simple ways to fix this- 1. Try our stand up bed (no touch) 2. Rotate while laying in the lay down bed -
Protect Tattoos
Anxious about tanning with your ink? Here are some tips that will help keep your tattoo protected and allow you to get that glow you desire.
Wait a few weeks before exposing your ink to the tanning bed to make sure it’s completely healed. Spray tanning will not affect your healed tattoos! If you’re nervous if your tattoo is healed or not, you can always cover it while you tan.
